On Wednesday, August 17, 2005, IFEZ held a meeting with officials from Incheon International Airport Corporation, Incheon Port Authority, and Incheon Urban Development Corporation to discuss the development of U-City. The meeting was convened to establish an inter-agency cooperation framework for the full-scale development of a ubiquitous city and to discuss ways to connect related infrastructure. The participating organizations shared directions for cooperation and information and communications technology-based services linking airport, port, and urban development functions, and they will further develop detailed strategies and implementation plans for the U-City project.
