On Tuesday, October 4, 2005, the Qingdao logistics delegation from China visited the Incheon Free Economic Zone and signed an agreement to build Korea-China logistics centers through a cross-joint cooperation model involving logistics companies and related organizations from both countries. Under the agreement, the two sides will build logistics centers in the Republic of Korea and Qingdao, China, by 2007. Participants discussed ways to connect bilateral logistics networks and strengthen logistics infrastructure cooperation, and the project will contribute to expanding Korea-China logistics cooperation and reinforcing international logistics functions.
