On Monday, November 28, 2005, Park Geun-hye, Chair of the Grand National Party, and her delegation visited the Incheon Free Economic Zone, inspected the Songdo International City project site, watched a promotional video at Gaetbeol Tower, and received an on-site briefing from the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City. The visit was made to review the progress of free economic zone development and major projects and to examine future directions for development. Through the on-site explanations, the participants reviewed the status of infrastructure development and the overall urban development plan.
