On February 7, 2006 (Tuesday), Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) signed an agreement to promote friendly cooperation with Wuxi, China, and held a joint investment briefing at the international conference hall on the second floor of Gaetbeol Tower in Songdo International City. About 60 officials from development special zones and business representatives attended the event, where the two cities discussed ways to expand economic and industrial exchanges and strengthen the foundation for investment cooperation. The joint investment briefing served as an opportunity to introduce the development status and investment environment of Songdo International City and to broaden practical exchange and cooperation projects.
