On February 6, 2006 (Monday), Incheon Metropolitan City, the Incheon Urban Development Corporation, and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) held a project briefing at Gaetbeol Tower in Songdo International City to invite private-sector developers for the Unbuk Mixed Leisure Complex in Yeongjong International City. The briefing was arranged to introduce the development direction and project conditions for a tourism- and leisure-oriented complex and to expand private investment participation. The Unbuk Mixed Leisure Complex is planned as a self-sustaining mixed-use district combining tourism, commercial, and residential functions in Yeongjong International City, and it is expected to contribute to regional economic revitalization and the expansion of the international tourism base.
