On June 1, 2006 (Thursday), President Horikawa Tetsushi of Kyoto University, Japan, and his delegation visited the Incheon Free Economic Zone Promotion Center. The visit was arranged to review the development status, major project plans, and conditions for education and research cooperation centered on Songdo International City. Through the exhibition and project briefing at the promotion center, the delegation examined the progress of establishing an international business, education, and research base, and the visit is expected to contribute to expanding interuniversity exchanges and strengthening the foundation for international cooperation.
