On June 25, 2006 (Sunday), a delegation of Southeast Asian ambassadors to Korea visited the IFEZ Promotion Center. The visit was organized by the Incheon International Exchange Center, which invited 24 ambassadors from Asian countries to introduce major areas of Incheon Metropolitan City, the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, and its investment environment. Through the exhibition and project briefing at the IFEZ Promotion Center, the ambassadorial delegation reviewed the progress of building an international business, logistics, and advanced industry base centered on Songdo International City, and the event also added significance to the promotion of Incheon Metropolitan City’s bid for the 2014 Asian Games and its tourism resources.
