On June 30, 2006 (Friday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) held a tile-raising ceremony for a traditional pavilion to be used as a cultural facility in Michuhol Park, Neighborhood Park No. 2 in Songdo International City. The ceremony was held to mark a major stage in the traditional construction process, and the pavilion is scheduled to be built in the Iikgong style, a palace architectural style of the Joseon Dynasty. After completion, it will be used as a space for traditional cultural experiences and relaxation for park visitors, and it is expected to enhance the cultural landscape and park functions of Songdo International City.
