On July 6, 2006 (Thursday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority attended the international seminar titled “Development Strategies for Free Economic Zones as a Northeast Asian Economic Hub” held at The Shilla Seoul. At the seminar, Lee Hwan-gyun, Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, presented the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, along with key strategic projects and the investment environment of Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City. The seminar was held as a venue for domestic and international experts and officials to discuss the future direction of free economic zones, and it is expected to contribute to enhancing the global standing of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and strengthening the foundation for foreign investment attraction.
