On August 21, 2006 (Monday), Agustin Carstens, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and his delegation visited the IFEZ Promotion Center. The visit was arranged to review the development status, major project plans, and investment environment of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, centered on Songdo International City, together with economic representatives from 13 countries including New Zealand and China. Through the exhibition and project briefing at the promotion center, the delegation examined the progress of building an international business, logistics, and advanced industry base, and the visit is expected to contribute to expanding international exchanges and strengthening the foundation for future investment cooperation.
