On December 19, 2006 (Tuesday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a cooperation agreement with the Korea Institute of Design Promotion to strengthen collaboration in the fields of urban landscape and public design. The agreement was 추진 to improve the quality of the urban environment in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City and to establish a public design system suited to an international city. Under the agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in urban landscape improvement, the development of public facility design, design consulting, and the identification of joint projects, and the partnership is expected to contribute to creating a more pleasant urban environment and strengthening urban competitiveness.
