On January 18, 2007 (Thursday) IFEZ signed a business agreement with Kyung Hee University East-West Neo Medical Center for the development of the Incheon Biomedical Hub and an advanced medical complex. The agreement was intended to establish a bio-medical hub centered on Songdo International City by linking advanced medical research with clinical functions. Kyung Hee University East-West Neo Medical Center plans to cooperate in establishing clinical centers centered on an East-West Integrative Cancer Center and in building a medical tourism cluster, while related research and medical institutions and linked projects will also be promoted in phases.
