On February 1, 2007 (Thursday) IFEZ held a groundbreaking ceremony for key landmark facilities in the Songdo International Business District, including the 65-story Northeast Asia Trade Tower (NEATT), the Convention Center Hotel, and Central Park. The groundbreaking marked the full-scale start of a complex urban foundation integrating international business, convention and tourism, and waterfront park functions. The Northeast Asia Trade Tower will be developed as a representative super high-rise office building of Songdo International City, while the Convention Center Hotel and Central Park will also be built as core assets supporting both global business activity and residential quality of life.
