On Wednesday, May 2, 2007, Li Po Incheon Development Co., Ltd., a joint venture established for the development of the Unbuk Complex Leisure City in Yeongjong International City, was launched. The company was created to move forward with the Unbuk complex leisure development project and plans to build a mixed-use complex in Yeongjong International City combining tourism, leisure, and commercial functions. The establishment of the corporation marked an important step toward expanding the foundation for an international tourism hub and strengthening regional competitiveness.
