On Monday, June 18, 2007, IFEZ signed an investment agreement with i-SENS. i-SENS is a manufacturer of advanced medical devices and secured overseas capital worth KRW 5.1 billion (USD 5.47 million) from related companies in the United States and Hong Kong. The company plans to build medical measuring instrument manufacturing and research and development facilities in Songdo International City. The agreement is expected to help expand the industrial base for advanced medical devices and strengthen competitiveness in the bio and medical sectors.
