On Thursday, July 12, 2007, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with the Science Center of the United States. The Science Center is an institution that supports research and development and commercialization for companies in the biotechnology sector, and it plans to establish a center in the biomedical hub to be developed in Districts 5 and 7 of Songdo International City. The memorandum of understanding is expected to contribute to expanding the research base for the bio industry and strengthening support systems for related companies.
