On Tuesday, November 13, 2007, the Organizing Committee for Incheon City Expo 2009 held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Incheon World City Expo 2009. The Incheon World City Expo 2009 is the world’s first exposition themed around cities and will be developed on a 500,000-square-meter site in Songdo International City. More than 200 domestic and overseas cities and over 100 companies are expected to participate, showcasing urban development strategies and future urban culture, and contributing to raising Incheon’s profile as an international city.
