On Friday, March 7, 2008, IFEZ held the groundbreaking ceremony for Tomorrow City in Songdo International City. Tomorrow City was planned as a complex facility including a u-City promotional hall and a transportation terminal, designed to introduce and demonstrate future urban services based on ubiquitous city technologies. It will be operated as a multifunctional space combining advanced information technology with urban infrastructure and is expected to serve as a key hub showcasing the future-oriented urban environment and global city foundation of Songdo International City.
