On Thursday, September 11, 2008, IFEZ held the groundbreaking ceremony for Art Center Incheon in Songdo International City. Art Center Incheon will be developed as a multi-purpose cultural complex with a concert hall and cultural arts facilities, and will support world-class performances, exhibitions, and cultural activities for citizens. The groundbreaking marked an important step in expanding the cultural infrastructure of Songdo International City and establishing a cultural arts hub befitting an international city.
