On Friday, October 17, 2008, IFEZ signed an agreement with the Incheon Global Fair & Festival Organizing Committee and the Korea RFID/USN Association to host an international event. The agreement was made to strengthen cooperation in attracting and operating international events and to promote ubiquitous city technologies and advanced information and communications technology to domestic and overseas audiences. Going forward, the organizations will jointly pursue event planning, operation, promotion, and related industry-linked projects to enhance the status of the international city.
