On Wednesday, November 19, 2008, IFEZ signed an agreement with the University of Utah. The agreement was made to expand the global education and research base in Songdo International City and to accelerate the attraction of outstanding overseas universities. The University of Utah is a research-oriented university headquartered in the state of Utah in the United States, with strong capabilities in education and research across a wide range of academic fields. Going forward, both sides will pursue the establishment of an international campus and education cooperation projects to strengthen the international education environment in Songdo International City.
