On Wednesday, November 26, 2008, Yonsei University held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Songdo Global Complex in Songdo International City. The project was launched to create a complex equipped with global education, research, and industry-academia cooperation functions and to expand the international education environment and advanced knowledge base. Going forward, university facilities, research spaces, and support facilities will be developed in phases, contributing to the strengthening of Songdo International City’s role as an international education city and to regional development.
