On Thursday, January 15, 2009, IFEZ signed a business agreement with the Korea Environment Corporation to build a green growth-based city and a business-centered city. The agreement was made to expand eco-friendly urban infrastructure and establish a foundation for sustainable development. Going forward, the two organizations will strengthen cooperation in resource circulation, environmental management, and low-carbon green growth, and will work to enhance the competitiveness of eco-friendly cities in the Incheon Free Economic Zone, including Songdo International City.
