On Tuesday, January 20, 2009, Songdo International City Development, LLC (NSIC) held a lighting ceremony for The Sharp First World, a high-rise residential complex located in the International Business District of Songdo International City. The Sharp First World, a landmark residential complex shaping the skyline of Songdo International City, added significance to enhancing the image of a mixed-use international city by illuminating the urban landscape of the International Business District. It is expected to contribute to the formation of a central living area where residential, business, and commercial functions will come together.
