On Friday, February 6, 2009, Incheon Metropolitan City and Cisco Systems signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The agreement was arranged to strengthen cooperation on building a ubiquitous city foundation and smart infrastructure using advanced information and communications technology. Cisco Systems is a global company that provides network equipment and internet-based communication solutions, and the two sides plan to pursue cooperation measures to improve urban management efficiency and realize a future-oriented information city.
