On Monday, February 9, 2009, a delegation of Cisco Systems executives visited the IFEZ Promotion Hall. The visit was arranged to review the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and plans for building a city based on advanced information and communications technology. Cisco Systems is a U.S. company specializing in IT and networking, and the delegation examined key projects in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City through the exhibition and briefing at the promotion hall, while also reviewing the potential for future cooperation on smart infrastructure.
