On March 23, 2009 (Monday), Incheon Metropolitan City, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), Incheon Urban Development Corporation, and other public institutions and companies related to the development of Yongyu-do and Muuido established the Yongyu-Muuido Project Management Company (PMC) for the successful construction of a culture, tourism, and leisure complex city. The Yongyu-Muuido Project Management Company will systematically manage the development project in the Yongyu-do and Muuido area of Yeongjong-gu and coordinate cooperation among the participating entities. The establishment is expected to help accelerate the creation of a multifunctional city with cultural, tourism, and leisure facilities and lay the foundation for an international tourism hub.
