On April 1, 2009 (Wednesday), a group of professors and students from major universities in the United States visited the IFEZ PR Center. The visit was arranged to review the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and its vision for building an international city, and to explore possibilities for cooperation in the fields of economy, education, and research. At the PR Center, the delegation looked around major projects in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City, as well as the current status of attracting foreign educational and research institutions. The visiting group came to Korea to examine cases of international city development and global industry-academia cooperation.
