On April 2, 2009 (Thursday), the Speaker of the Kitakyushu City Council and delegation from Japan visited the IFEZ PR Center. The visit was arranged to review the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and its vision for building an international city, and to explore possibilities for exchange and cooperation between local governments in Korea and Japan. At the PR Center, the delegation looked around major development projects in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City, as well as the investment environment. The delegation visited Korea to examine cases of international city development and the foundation for economic cooperation.
