On April 27, 2009 (Monday), the City of Milan in Italy broke ground for the Milan Design City PR Center in Yeongjong International City. The groundbreaking was carried out to introduce the Milan Design City project in Yeongjong International City and to present its future development vision to domestic and international audiences. The Milan Design City PR Center will serve functions including project promotion, investment consultation, and exhibitions, and is expected to play a key role in developing a complex city combining design, culture, and tourism. The City of Milan is a leading center of design and fashion industries in northern Italy.
