On May 16, 2009 (Saturday), the Vice Administrator of the National Emergency Management Agency and a delegation from the Korea Planning Association visited the IFEZ PR Center. The visit was arranged to review the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and its vision for building an international city, and to examine the linkage between disaster safety systems and urban planning. At the PR Center, the delegation looked around major development projects in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City, as well as the status of infrastructure development and future growth plans. The Korea Planning Association is an academic organization engaged in research and policy discussion in the fields of national land, urban, and regional development.
