On May 25, 2009 (Monday), Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan City Urban Development Corporation, and Fiera Incheon City Complex Co., Ltd. signed an agreement related to the development of Milan Design City. The agreement was made to develop a complex district in Yeongjong International City combining design, exhibition, culture, and commercial functions. Milan Design City will be promoted as a mixed-use development project encompassing international exhibitions, the design industry, and tourism functions, and is expected to contribute to strengthening the tourism competitiveness of Yeongjong International City and attracting foreign investment. Fiera Incheon City Complex Co., Ltd. is a special purpose company established to carry out the complex development project.
