On June 22, 2009 (Monday), the Utah-Inha DDS and Advanced Therapeutics Global R&D Center held an international symposium commemorating its opening. The symposium was organized to share research achievements in Drug Delivery Systems (DDS) and advanced medical technologies and to expand the foundation for industry-academia-research cooperation. The joint research center is to operate in Songdo International City as a global hub for bio and medical research, and is expected to promote joint research and technology exchange among domestic and international researchers as well as pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
