On February 25, 2010 (Thursday), IFEZ held a meeting with officials of fugitive dust-generating worksites for the creation of an Eco-City. The meeting was organized to share measures for reducing fugitive dust at development sites, including those in Songdo International City, and to discuss management plans for creating a pleasant urban environment. Participants discussed ways to suppress fugitive dust, strengthen on-site management, and operate construction sites in a more environmentally friendly manner, and they plan to continue voluntary environmental management and site improvements.
