On Monday, July 26, 2010, Lee Jong-cheol was inaugurated as the 3rd Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority. Commissioner Lee Jong-cheol was set to promote major development projects in the Incheon Free Economic Zone in a stable manner and to accelerate investment attraction, expansion of urban infrastructure, and the strengthening of international city competitiveness. He also planned to systematically review key projects in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City and enhance development outcomes.
