On Friday, September 3, 2010, IFEZ signed an investment agreement with Bernabiotech-Crucell Korea to expand vaccine manufacturing facilities. The agreement was intended to expand the vaccine production base in Songdo International City and strengthen the competitiveness of the biopharmaceutical industry. Bernabiotech-Crucell Korea is a subsidiary of Crucell, a Dutch biopharmaceutical company, specializing in vaccine research and development, and plans to contribute to the clustering of the advanced bio industry through the future expansion of its production facilities.
