On Thursday, September 30, 2010, IFEZ held the U-City International Conference Incheon 2010 under the theme “U-Eco City and U-Biz.” The conference was organized to share strategies for building ubiquitous cities, eco-friendly urban environments, and advanced business infrastructure. Participants discussed future urban technologies, city operation models, and industrial convergence strategies. The event is expected to strengthen the smart city competitiveness of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, including Songdo International City, and expand the foundation for international cooperation.
