On November 6, 2007 (Tuesday), IFEZ signed a land sale agreement with FIBOX. FIBOX is a Finnish company specializing in electrical and electronic component protection enclosures and planned to invest approximately KRW 4 billion to build a manufacturing plant on a site of about 1,500 pyeong in the Songdo International City Knowledge and Information Industry Complex. The agreement was expected to establish FIBOX’s production base in Korea and contribute to attracting foreign companies and expanding the advanced manufacturing industry base in Songdo International City.
